I am very much looking forward to our school year together.  My school year begins with the excitement of meeting many new faces, as well as the joy of being reunited with many familiar ones.  For those who are new to my class, I am Miss Catlett.  I am a fan of adventure, and love to learn as much as I can!  It is my hope, that throughout the school year, I can share a bit of this with you... both adventure, and a love of learning.

I have a hope to challenge you this school year, as you should hope to be each year! It is only through challenge that we learn.  May we always struggle to climb a mountain, only to turn around at the top, and realize our accomplishments.  This year, I hope that together we take on new challenges, push ourselves further, grow in our confidences and grow as individuals.

Block Scheduling and this website....

Parents and Students:
As our new school year approaches, so do many big changes.  This year, your students schedule will be in "Blocks" or 80 minute periods that will take place every other day.  This surely has it's benefits for extended quality instruction time.  However, attendence is of upmost importance.  This website is created to help ensure that you and your student are kept up to date on current assignments and due dates.  If a student misses a day of school, it will equal the student missing a great deal of academics.  Please use this website to help absent students complete assignments in a timely fashion, despite absence, to help prevent them from becoming overwhelmed with make-up work.  Adventurous students may also use this website as a tool to help them work ahead during times when schedules tend to get hectic.
